Alexis - Appomattox High School - Class of 2018 Senior Rep {Appomattox Senior Photographer}

Today lets introduce you to Alexis from Appomattox High School!  Alexis plays basketball and has played for the past 4 years.  She is also a sideline football cheerleader and has been cheering for 5 years.  After high school she would like to attend West Virginia University and study to be a kindergarten teacher!  

She has two dogs named Knight and Coco.  Her favorite musician is Alessia Cara and she loves scary movies!  Alexis was great to work with!  I am excited to have a rep in Appomattox this year because I lived and worked there for a number of years.  I am looking forward to what we can capture for her own Senior session!

Isaiah - Rustburg HS - Class of 2018 Senior Rep {Rustburg Senior Photographer}

Today let me introduce another member of my rep team.  This is Isaiah!!  He goes to Rustburg High School where he plays baseball.  He has played baseball for the past 13 years.  Isaiah enjoys woking on his truck, farming and hanging out with his friends.  

His favorite restaurant is Perky's but also loves Mexican food and his favorite movie is Fast and Furious!  After high school he wants to attend CVCC and taking Machining!

Haley - Rustburg HS - Class of 2018 Senior Model Rep {Rustburg Senior Photographer

Let me introduce you to another one of my Senior Reps this year!  Meet Haley from Rustburg High School.  With her love of makeup and fashion this photoshoot was right up her alley!!  

Haley has been cheering for the past 4 years and has been tumbling for the past 5!  One day she hopes to work in the medical field and has interest in attending JMU, VT, or UVA.  Some of her favorite moves are The Bourne Series, The Fast and Furious Series and The Notebook!  A little action, a little romance, my kind of girl!  I am looking forward to seeing what we get with her own senior session.

Jordan - Heritage HS - Class of 2018 Senior Model Rep {Lynchburg Senior Photographer}

Let's kick off our Class of 2018 Senior Model Rep introductions with Jordan from Heritage High School.  Jordan was great to work with and was very relaxed in front of the camera.  He plays Golf and has played for the past four years.  His favorite show is The Walking Dead and he loves pizza!  Yummy!  Who doesn't?  

Jordan is thinking of attending JMU or Coastal Carolina but is not sure yet of what he may major in.  We have something in common as his favorite movie is Lone Survivor and that just happens to be one of my favorite books.  Check out my favorite shots from the photoshoot below!  Great to have you on the team Jordan!! 

Shoot and Share {Virginia Senior Photographer - Alison Creasy Photography}

So recently I entered the shoot and share contest for the first time.  It's a global contest where you submit images in different categories and other photogs and enthusists vote on the images they like.  They get narrowed down over time until they end up with the winners.  This year there were 330,000 photos entered from 10,000 photographers.  I didn't win, but I did pretty good.  The images below were finalists!  Most were in the Senior category and two in the Pet/Animal category.  I did have one image make it to the top 100 I will share that in the next post.

The senior category had 20,266 images submitted and the pets/animals had 10,102 images submitted.  It was fun to participate.
