I met with Dillion and his family at Sweet Briar College to shoot his Fall Senior Portraits. The campus there is beautiful and from the pictures you would never know you are on a college campus. I love shooting this time of year! It's cool and colorful! Beats sweating it out in the Summer. Dillion was so relaxed during his session and a lot of fun! I enjoyed working with him!!
I had the chance to do a photoshoot for Joey and Marcie for their 10 Year anniversary. Luckily they got married in the fall so it is a perfect time to record their love story. Everyone gets their pictures done on their wedding day, but that is only the beginning! What about the years to come. It's great to document the full Love story. The Happily Ever After comes after the honeymoon phase, years down the road. When you look at your spouse and still have those feelings of love and still make each other laugh. Joey and Marcie are a prime example that love can grow stronger as the years go by if you nurture your relationship! And just maybe, on occasion, feed your love with beer, wings, and baseball! Happy Anniversary!
I broke up the workshop into two different blogs. Details and the Bride. We had a model that we got to pose and shoot. Our model did a wonderful job, even though it was a bit cold at the end! The dress had a shear over lay with blush in the tool skirt. Then when you took it off it was a fitted white dress. What a great way to have two looks for your wedding day!

It's all in the details! Wedding planning is a long detailed process. The Bride spends time planning each small detail to perfection. So, it's important to shoot the details. It paints a picture of the look and feel of the wedding. Most guests will see the big picture, but picking out those small details and photographing them will give the Bride a visual remembrance of the wedding!

Mundy and Keri got married at the beautiful Avoca Museum in Altavista VA. It was a beautiful day! The Avoca Museum is a beautiful Queen Anne Victorian House. The grounds are beautiful with large trees for plenty of shade.
