When Denise contacted me and said she was interested in a Celebration of Retirement Portrait shoot I got excited!! It sounded like fun and I knew I could do a good job. It was key not to make it cheesy. We wanted a little tongue in cheek but also just some beautiful portraits of her celebrating her profession and show the excitement of what is to come!
I commend Denise on making the extra effort. She brought multiple outfits, got apples and fixed up her classroom nicely. She got professional, hot rolled her hair and made sure her nails looked nice. Those extra efforts helped make this portrait turn out perfect! Her makeup looks very natural, but look at those eyes pop! That is what professional makeup does. AND my word… she brought a legit crown!! I was so happy to see she has a fantastic crown!! I so enjoyed working with Denise and will always remember this photoshoot!
If there is a life moment you want to celebrate I hope seeing her session gives you the courage to do just that! Celebrate you in portraits! They will last forever and she will be able to pass them on to her children..AND it was a really fun time!
