Isaiah - Rustburg High - Virginia Senior Photographer

I met Isaiah and his family on their family farm.  It is a place I am familiar with as I spend part of my childhood playing there.  It was nice to go back and see!  We also rode up to one of the most beautiful spots in the county.  It's land that is owned by a close friend of his family.  We even include his dog, who posed like a champ!  His truck was so awesome!  It's  nice to shoot an older model truck that is teal!  it's in great shape and the headlights have been updated so it is a good combination of old and new!

Isaiah is also one of my senior reps for the Class of 2017!  Thank you for choosing me to photograph your senior portraits! Good luck in whatever you decide to pursue after high school.

Editorial Photography for Johns Hopkins Medicine - Norah - Alison Creasy Photography

Over the summer I was contact by Johns Hopkins Medicine and hired to get some pictures for an article they were doing for a local girl.  Norah was very sick girl in a lot of pain and their hospital helped her get better and back on her feet.  They asked for some pictures of her, with her family and doing a few things she likes to so.  She likes to make slime and ride her bike so that's what I went with.  She is such a bright and happy girl, it's hard to think about her going through all that she has.   I am glad her happiness still shines bright!  While we were there I grabbed a shot of her siblings as well.

I recently got the magazine and it is awesome seeing my work in print.  I'd love to do more editorial work.

Ian Soccer - VES - Virginia Senior Photographer

Very happy with how Ian's soccer portraits turned out.  We shot at the VES fields and had direct sun at the goal for his portraits so we got awesome back lighting!  Then Ian did some juggling, dribbling, headers, and took some shots.  Thanks Ian for doing each skill multiple times so I could be sure I nailed it and could get different angles.  It's always good to get in some extra practice anyway!  Can I just say how much I loved the netting.  Those large heptagons were visually very nice to have for his portraits.

Thank you very much to Ian and his Mom for choosing me to shoot his senior portraits!  I really enjoyed working with you!  I hope these portraits are something you will be able to look back at years from now and remember how much you love playing!

Ian - Virginia Episcopal School - Alison Creasy Senior Photographer

We shot Ian's senior portraits at his home and we did a few at Virginia Episcopal School before we shot his soccer portraits.  We went down to the creek for a few, in a field with some gorgeous views, and by the barn.  The barn ones are interesting because it was completely dark by that time.  We got a late start and lost the light.  Good thing I have two lights because I used them both for those shots.  I really like the ones we did at his school as well.  What beautiful campus!

Ian's dogs jumped in for some and kinda stole the show in them.  Leo (the white dog)  jumped in right away ready for his close up, while Trixie was a bit more hesitant.  (I apologize if I got their names wrong)  Then she decided she wanted in and came up to Ian and hung out while we where shooting.  Always fun to include my clients pets!

Spencer Baseball - RHS - Virginia Senior Photographer

Over the summer we shot Spencer's baseball portraits!  I've shot three seniors on the Rustburg baseball team this year, so it was on me to not duplicate poses.  It's important to me to not give clients the same things.  Spencer was great a posing and being relaxed.  He plays outfield and it hard to believe it now but the season will be here before you know.

Good luck Spencer in your final baseball season.  Really enjoy it!
