Daegan - Rustburg High - Class of 2017 - Senior Photography

We shot Daegan's senior portraits on his family's  farm in Brookneal.  Daegan is the catcher for the 2016 Rustburg State Champs baseball team so we did a sports session as well at the baseball field.  He loves to hunt and loves his truck so we worked that into his session as well!  I love getting to shoot a variety of interests for my seniors!!!

Daegan hopes to play baseball in college somewhere and I wish him the best in his final baseball season at Rustburg!

Patricia - Rustburg High - Virginia Senior Photographer

Take a look at Patricia's senior session at Riverside Park.  It was a perfect fall evening and we just walked through the park stopping along the way.  Riverside park is a great place for portraits because it offers a variety of landscapes.  Patricia was wonderful to work with!  She posed so well and is very natural in front of the camera!

Patricia plans to attend college after high school but hasn't chosen which one yet.  She is looking in VA and TN.  I know she will do great at whichever school she choses.  I hope the rest of her senior year is great!

Austin - Rustburg High - Class of 2017 {Virginia Senior Photography}

We took these senior portraits of Austin recently and included his dog Maggie in a few too! His session came together really well!  The location, wardrobe, lighting and posing just all meshed together to create a few of my favorite from this senior season.

I love the ones with the hay bale.  The light just created a perfect back light for Austin in his camo to create a rich warm portrait!!!  As well as his relaxed poses.  It's so important to be relaxed during your sessions, it can make all the difference!

Austin is a member of the Rustburg Baseball team that won the State Championship!  Our community is very proud!  He is sporting his championship ring in his baseball pics!!!

Autumn - Rustburg High - Class of 2017 {Virginia Senior Photography}

I met up with this pretty young lady last Sunday at Sweet Briar College.  It's a popular photography location due to the fact that it's gorgeous and offers a variety of looks.  It was very, very windy in spots.  But we took our time and made it work.  We had to wait for a gust or two.  I like the movement it gave to her hair in some of the images too!

I really enjoyed working the Autumn!  Appropriate that we did her session in the fall!  Have a great senior year.  It will fly by!

Jake and Jessica - Glencliff Manor Wedding - {Virginia Wedding Photographer}

I can't say enough about this sweet couple.  They had planned a beautiful garden wedding at Glencliff manor but Hurricane Matthew changed those plans.   However, it was still a gorgeous, beautiful wedding.  I never heard the first complaint about the weather from the bride or groom or anyone else there.  They were just so happy to be getting married and it showed.  They had a blast!!!  This just goes to show it really is what you make of it.

After seeing how they handled this little snag on their wedding day I know they will weather all of life's storms with grace and ease.  I wish you both the best of luck and a splendid marriage!
